Old Mission Peninsula wineries offer visitors a site to behold. Surrounded by the gorgeous blue waters of the East and West Grand Traverse Bays, lies the famous Old Mission Peninsula. With warmth and charm all its own, Old Mission Peninsula welcomes visitors with beautiful scenery, culinary delights, and even a lighthouse. For wine lovers, Old Mission is home to seven wineries that have been recognized the world over. These wineries produce award-winning wine for even the most discerning wine connoisseur, including: Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Grigio, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Gewürztraminer, Cabernet Franc, sparkling varieties, and ice wines.

Leelanau Peninsula wineries dot this area, offering many incredible and award-winning wines. Just north of Traverse City, in one of the most scenic landscapes northern Michigan has to offer, lies the beautiful Leelanau Peninsula. Visitors can spend the day driving scenic M22 around this water-soaked part of Northern Michigan, from Suttons Bay up to Omena and Northport, then back down to Leland and Glen Arbor, stopping in various cities and towns along the way to see what makes this area so spectacular. From quaint towns full of eclectic shops and culinary experiences, to some of nature’s most beautiful works of art, the Leelanau Peninsula offers an experience all its own.
